Mona Villas is located in the rolling Staffordshire / Derbyshire countryside above, about three quarters of a mile to the left and up a bit from the church! It's an ideal location for walking and mountain biking and we have a local pub that does good food just a short walk away too! What more could you ask for?!?

At Monas Villas our goal is to provide great accommodation at a reasonable price. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness and comfort of our rooms and are extremely flexible in catering for different sizes of groups.

All rooms at Monas Villas are en-suite. We also ensure you will have facilities for tea and coffee in your rooms. You'll also find a colour TV as well for your entertainment.
A full English breakfast is an essential part of your break at Monas Villas and we do our best to ensure your happiness. Breakfast is served from 7:00 to 9:00am.
For the 2006 season our tariff will be:-
Single Rooms from £30.00 to
£35.00/person
Double Rooms from £23.00 to £25.00/person
All rooms have ensuite bathroom facilities and it is worth noting that a no smoking policy operates throughout our premises.
We have been awarded the English Tourist Council's National Accessible Scheme Mobility Level 1 award for Accomodation. This means we are able to cater for the less mobile with our ground floor rooms. We are also proud to be able to show the AA and Visit Britain four diamonds awards.

| A Grand Day Out
A trip to Alton Towers is great fun for all the family, whatever their ages. Mona Villas is a great base to start from as we're less than quarter of an hours drive from the front gates
A Grand Day Out for the Young Ones Gulliver's Kingdom in nearby Matlock Bath is great for younger children. The rides are a little less white knuckle but there's lots of them and the whole site is on a fairly steep hill so you're almost guaranteed to tire them out! It can also be combined with a visit to the new Masson Mills shopping centre which is a recent development of one of Richard Arkwright's historic mills.
Cycling the Tissington and High Peak Trails
Walking the Peak District and Dovedale Dovedale has some of the most beautiful views in Derbyshire. What's more it's only ten minutes from our door so while you're here don't miss the opportunity of walking the river that inspired Isaac Walton to write the classic 'The Compleat Angler'. If that's not enough there's miles and miles of the Peak District National Park and the Staffordshire Moorlands right on our doorstep.
Golf in the Peak District Ashbourne Golf Club is
less than ten minutes from Mona Villas. Ashbourne offers
a tough test for accomplished golfers while still having
something for the high handicappers. There are also a
number of other good courses in the area including
Kedleston, Breadsall Priory, Horsley Lodge, Uttoxeter,
Craythorne and many more are all around thirty minutes to
forty minutes away. |
